New Jersey Council of the Blind is an affiliate of the American Council of the Blind. Our Council's goals are to increase the independence of people with visual impairments through education, networking and mentoring. We have four chapters throughout all areas of New Jersey. Our membership is primarily made up of legally blind people over the age of 16. We also have some sighted members who share our interest and goals. We have four meetings a year in January, April, July and our Annual Convention in October that meet at different locations around the state.
