Attention guide dog users, puppy raisers and interested friends:

The Garden State Guide Dog Users (GSGDU) meets the first Saturday of June and December from 1 PM until 3 PM. The meetings are held at the NJ Library for the Blind and Handicapped at 2300 Stuyvesant Avenue, Trenton, New Jersey 08618. We discuss topics pertinent to our interests such as traffic, accessible pedestrian signals, public transportation, canine health and quiet cars. We also discuss safety issues such as retro-reflective vests, animal interference, and community interaction.

We have conference calls on an as needed basis to discuss issues in a timely manner.

Membership in GSGDU also gives you membership in New Jersey Council of the Blind (NJCB), Guide Dog Users Inc. and American Council of the Blind. You will also receive all three of these organizations’ newsletters, The NJCB Chronicle; Paw Tracks and the Braille Forum.
